I have never been more sure that this is an organisation with Jehovah's backing. And no, I am not brainwashed, tricked, blinded, etc etc, it is merely the fact of the matter.

A statement that is equally made and just as fervent by hundreds of thousands of others in religions that follow the teachings of Christ more closely than the JWs. Let me guess.....you were born and raised in the religion and know nothing else.....

I grew up in the 50's and 60' during the Cold War in a military family. Don't worry about it. You are more likely to be hit by a drunk driver or mugged on the way home from the mall.

I grew up during the same period.....I was more scared back then than I am now. Relax....China will keep an eye on pajama boy....they don't want to lose their WalMart account.

uh, hey guys, i was kinda wonderin' what you all think of a woman for president here in 2008?

i like the idea myself... in another thread i said "i noticed that i found myself more sorrowful for military funerals then i used to be, and i am finally starting to see christmas as an act of love, and not so much a disobedience to god's ways.

i often thought of how jesus took the pharisee's traditions and explained how they were evil, because of how they were being used.

Since the U.S. has very few women I think would be up to the task as being The Prez, I think we should go to England, bring Margaret Thatcher out of retirement, hire a personal fitness coach (get her shape), change our Constitution to allow her to run and let her take a shot at it....at least we would know where she stood.

have you traded one lie "armaggeddon is around the corner" that jw's insist on to jump ship and believing another "lie" by born-agains that the "rapture is very close".
